The Beaches
Version franaise
Reunion Beaches are not those of Mauritius. The island is far too
young to have endless lagoons and heavenly sandy beaches.
Nonetheless, these beaches still are very charming.
White sand at Saint-Gilles or Saint-Pierre, black sand at Saint-Paul,
Saint-Leu or l'Etang Sal.

Calm lagoons where tiny colourful fishes tickle your toes at
low tide, big waves that smash on the beach...
You can find whatever you like. However, beaches are not all around
the island. Most of the coast is cliffs and capes.
But don't worry, if you like sunbathing and having a swim, you
will enjoy the beaches during the whole year. Temperatures on the
beaches usually are between 23 and 33C, depending on the season.
